Flea Market Hunting : Masters of the Universe

As a kid one of my favourite collection was Masters of the Universe. My brother and I had tons of figures, vehicles and playsets. As we got older we gave all away.

Last year Isaac and I started to watch the 2002 TV series reboot of MOTU. It had a more serious tone then the original series and better animation. Now whenever we see a cool MOTU action figure we want, we get it.

So we found the original 1982 Skeletor released by Mattel. This is a great classic action figure. Its in good condition but missing his havoc staff and power sword.

Here is the original back of the package it came from in the days...

  1. i was just telling Reis over at Dork Horde that this was my "last hurrah" with toys as a child- 1982-83 were the last years I'd get them for Christmas. And '82 was a pretty cool haul of the first of these toys, including a Castle Greyskull, some of the vehicles, and even a Battle Cat! Great memories :)

    1. Back then they were "one of a kind". And some very unique and colourful characters were made.
