Flea Market Hunting : Masters of the Universe

We also got Faker! He is an evil duplicate of the lead character, He-Man, in service to the villain Skeletor.

Faker was one of the earliest characters to be produced for the Masters of the Universe toyline, released onto the shelves in early 1982. His toy is a blue-skinned, red-haired repaint of the He-Man figure, wearing armor identical to Skeletor's in orange, with a sticker showing inner robotic workings over his chest. His skin color and armor are intended to make him appear as a cross between He-Man and Skeletor.

Sadly he is not complete but we are extremely happy to have found him since he is rather impossible to get around here.

Flea Market Hunting : Masters of the Universe

Our collection of Masters of the Universe is slowly growing and we finally found some more action figures. The first one is Orko.

While most seem to "hate" the poor little guy, kids love him. So its no surprise that Isaac is a fan of Orko.

Flea Market Hunting : Sectaurs

We finally found a Sectaurs creature (puppet)!!!! Amazing!

Our collection of Sectaurs is slowly but nicely growing but we were missing those creatures. Now own one! Isaac is just as happy as I am. Just look at the crazy faces he makes.

Sectaurs: Warriors of Symbion was a line of action figures released by Coleco in 1985.

A long time ago...

Our home got invaded by Star Wars!

Jabba the Hut and his team of renegade mercenaries where about to steal the precious knowledge of how to make clones. R2-D2 was send in to spy on what was happening and inform the Jedi counsel of anything and everything.

Meanwhile the Rebel Alliance were getting ready.

But without the Rebels knowing it, the Empire was preparing all their troops for a major invasion of Tatooine in order to be the first to get the much wanted informations about clones.

Lego! Lego! Lego!

Guess what? Just before our trip we finally found our most wanted Lego Marvel Super Heroes set, Wolverine's Chopper Showdown (#6866). This 201 pieces set features three of the absolute coolest Lego minifigures ever, Wolverine, Deadpool and Magneto! WOW! What a trio!

The helicopter is ok but nothing special. There is also a motorcycle for Wolvie.

Yesterday I forgot to post this images of all of the bags for the Lego Monsters Fighters Vampyre Castle set. Look at all this!!!

Here's the exclusives Lego Super Heroes figures that were given away (or sold I don't remember) at the Comic Con. Hopefully they will one day all get a wide release in some sets. And we are still waiting for a Green Lantern minifigure... it was actually available at last year's Comic Con.

Lego Monster Fighters

The last Lego Monster Fighters set we got at Disney was the Vampyre Castle (#9468)! This incredible set contains 949 pieces and comes with 7 minifigures; Lord Vampyre, Vampyre Bride, two Bat Monsters, a skeleton and two monster fighters (Dr. Rodney Rathebone and Jack McHammer), one vehicle, traps, secret rooms and tons more!

This is one of the coolest Lego set we own. We love the design and all the details. The gate is very cool. The extended hidden staircase is a great idea. There is also an organ at the top. And it comes with all six magical Moon Stones.

Here is Isaac with all of his Lego Monster Fighters collection. Soon we will post photos of everything unboxed and built!

Lego Monster Fighters

We got The Mummy set (#9462) set too. For me this is the least interesting of the bunch but Isaac loves the mummy and is slowing building a nice army of them.

This small set contains 90 pieces and comes with two minifigures including a girl fighter.

Disney Star Wars exclusive figures + The Dark Knight Rises

The last Disney Star Wars exclusive figures action figures we got was this awesome package of Huey, Dewey and Louies as Jawas!!! It also comes with part of R5-D4.

Also we just came back from seeing The Dark Knight Rises. It is by far the best of the Batman films from director Christopher Nolan. I won't spoil anything but for fans of the comics everything is really obvious.

While one tiny but important element was changed, Nolan followed the comics closely. And we even get that famous scenes from the KNIGHTFALL storyline with Bane and Batman.... KRAKT!

Another Disney Star Wars exclusive action figure we got was Donald Duck as Darth Maul!

Now this is an amazing looking figure! As a kid my favourite Disney character was Donald and Darth Maul is simply too cool. This one is limited too, I believe under two thousand copies so it was a little hard to find even at Disney but we did!
