Disney 2012 Star Wars

After almost two years of wanting to go... Isaac and I took the ultimate vacation, Disney!

We had taken the plane two years ago but this was our very first time in Orlando Florida. During our trip we we're joined by fellow Troopers; Marielou and Melanie. Long days, longer line-up, extremely hot weather but a lot of expensive fun!!

Oh! It happened to be during a Star Wars weekend... coincidence?

"Oh, they've encased him in carbonite. He should be quite well protected. If he survived the freezing process, that is." ― C-3PO

New this year was this thing were you could get your face "carbonized" and place into a small 8" figures along with a photo for about $80 send to you some later time through mail.... no thanks! But seeing the carbonized Solo as one of the very first thing entering Hollywood Studios, I told myself "This is worth it alone!"

On the left, kids could learn the ways of the Jedi and later fight Darth Vader. Unfortunately, everyday there was about twenty millions kids in line under a sun that probably felt like the twin suns of Tatooine. Young Padawan Isaac didn't get his chance to beat the evil lord but it was seriously so hot outside that he told me "I don't care anymore!"

We decided to try the newly renovated Star Wars tour (not that we had tried it before).

While waiting in line, you walk under a what should be real size AT-AT! Amazing!

Isaac almost got crushed while taking a pose there, sneaky AT-AT driver.

And there is an Ewok village up there too! Very cool! I wonder if Wicket is there and could serve us a drink since we are starving...
