Flea Market Hunting: Star Wars

A little over a week ago, my son and I were joined by my friend Frank and his son Nolan for our biweekly adventure at the flea market. It was a lot of fun and totally worth it. Not only did we talked and laughed but the two father were even crazier then the kids. Too bad no one filmed us!

Isaac and I found lots of amazing stuff. Two items were like a gifts from heaven. Today I am presenting to you one of them... the original 1979 Boba Fett figure released by Kenner! This is not a re-issue but the original figure in perfect condition, with no scratch or paint lost. The only item missing was the gun but since we already had one to spare (from another figure), Boba Fett is now complete!

It is an amazing figure, one of my favorite as a kid. Today we now own three different Boba Fett figures. Hopefully we'll soon find the Ralph McQuarrie version which is simply amazing.

Another original vintage figure we got is Snaggletooth. He is a cool little creature quickly seen in the cantina sequence in the original 1977 film Star Wars. I looked at the dealer's table to see if the almost impossible to find taller blue Snaggletooth was there but no. Still an amazing find, especially considering that we pay only $4 for both! In the coming days we will have more of all the amazing figures we found at our last trip at the flea market!
