Marvel Universe

The last Marvel Universe action figure we got was Yellowjacket. Henry Pym, the first Yellowjacket, also known as Ant-Man, Giant-Man and Goliath, who was a founding member of The Avengers.

Its a good looking figure but the coolest thing about it is that a mini version of Ant-Man comes with him!

Created by editor and plotter Stan Lee, scripter Larry Lieber and penciler Jack Kirby, the character first appeared in Tales to Astonish #27 (Jan. 1962). Pym's character, a scientist that debuted in a standalone science-fiction anthology story, returned several issues later as the superhero Ant-Man, with the power to shrink to the size of an insect. Pym is eventually given a crime-fighting partner, Janet van Dyne (Wasp) and goes on to assume other superhero identities, including the size-changing Giant-Man and Goliath; the insect-themed Yellowjacket; and briefly the Wasp.

  1. Jealous! You should have Issac read the Trial of Yellowjacket. I think I was around his age when I first started reading comics. Those Avengers stories were around the first.
