Lego! Lego! Lego!

A co-worker gave me a GIGANTIC bag full of Lego! The bag is so big that I couldn't bring it back one in one trip. Isaac and I have quickly started to go through it and here's some of the stuff we found!

Star Wars Bespin Twin-Pod Cloud car! Amazing! We didn't owned this one and we found Lobo.

A Dewback, some Lego Arctic, Pirates and others.

The original Lego Landspeeder. The other pieces must be somewhere in the bag.

Our first snow speeder! Missing some pieces, which are probably in the bag.

More Lego minifigures.

The Star Wars cantina!! YES!!!!! Missing a few pieces... I'm sure I know where I'll find them.

Nice mini scale version here. So all this we found while going very quickly through the bag. We'll discover more cool stuff next time I guess.

Lego Star Wars Death Star Part 2

So we are back at our Lego Star Wars Death Star!

We are in no rush to complete this set... its HUGE. Sadly I had forgotten to take a photo of the bags before building them. So here you have Lego bricks from the first boxe (bags numbered #2 and 3).

Here's the reactor that Ben has to desactivate.

The dumpster is slowly taking shape.

Love the look of that cannon.

So slowly things are starting to look pretty cool!

Lego Batman

So we found two great 2006 Lego Batman sets online. The Batcave: The Penguin and Mr. Freeze's Invasion (#7783) and The Batboat: Hunt for Killer Croc (#7780).

The Batcave: The Penguin and Mr. Freeze's Invasion is hard to find and extremely expensive. It it much bigger then the version released last year. #7783 has 1071 pieces and 7 minifigures. It is the only way to own Alfred.

The Batboat: Hunt for Killer Croc has 2 minifigures and 188 pieces. We already owned the Batboat but was missing Killer Croc whom they haven't re-release so we had to get it.

Both sets were complete, in perfect condition and at an amazing low price!

Batman, Robin, Alfred, Bruce Wayne, Penguin, Mr. Freeze, a Henchman and then there are of course 3 lego brick builds for penguins. There are three different vehicles in this set. A small Penguin submarine, Robin's Jet Ski and a Batblade.

This set is HUGE! There are lots of sections including a computer room, bat signal, elevator, sewer entrance, mechanic shop and more. Now we need to find a way to connect this Batcave with the 2012 version to create one even BIGGER Batcave!

Lego have not re-release Killer Croc so we had to get this set... especially at the price it was. Killer Croc looks great. A superbly detailed minifigure and one of our new favourite. His jetboat is simply but still cool.

As extras, the sellers gave us Two-Face and another Penguin!

Lego Star Wars Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator

The Lego Star Wars Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator ended up being a very cool set to built. In total it contains 479 pieces includuing 4 minifigures. For us this is the first time we own Qui-Gon Jinn, Padme and Captain Panaka.

Now apart from a few scenes, we are not the biggest fans of The Phantom Menace. This is one of the reason why we never got any Lego sets from this film but this one we had to get. First of all it is much nicer then the previous version (#7151).

Some of the spaceship are pieces usually found in Lego Technics. It feels very solid and has lots of cool features. The Sith speeder is also a nice addition.

Darth Maul looks very cool!

Now look at that! All of the front opens and you can place in the Sith speeder and bombs.

And here is where the Sith lord controls his spaceship. Very cool!

Lego Star Wars

The other day my brother called me in panic! He saw some Lego Star Wars sets on special! AHhHAhHAh! Yes, he is as addicted as we are. We already owned the others so the only set we got was the Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator (#7961) for almost half its original price.

Needless to say that Isaac was very happy!

This will probably be a very cool set to built.

Our Lego city

Here is our latest version of our Lego City. We did some modifications and added in new vehicles and characters walking around. Soon we shall add more houses and roads.

Here is the summer 2013 Lego Galaxy Squad collection! There are still two sets from the first series we want... guess we'll have to buy them soon.
CLS-89 Eradicator Mech (70707) – 440 pieces/$39.99

Crater Creeper (70706) – 171 pieces/$19.99

Galactic Titan (70709) – 1012 pieces/$99.99

Hive Crawler (70708) – 560 pieces/$49.99

Also coming this year is the next Lego Cuusoo project,  Back To The Future DeLorean set! Lego have a scheme called Cuusoo through which they solicit fan designs for new kits and models. The system is simple: aspiring designers cook up a Lego set they’d like to see made and sold; you publish a Cuusoo page for your kit and get web users to endorse it; any kits that get 10,000 “likes” go before Lego’s official approval board. What’s more, any that are then sold pay a 1% royalty fee to the original designer.

Lego Star Wars Death Star

So we are back with our Lego Star Wars Death Star. Last time we finished all of the bags numbered #1, now its time for the rest of the bags from the first of four boxes!

As you can see there was lots more bricks to assemble! And now we are starting to see rooms appear like the trash compactor just below! Very nice!

Lego minifigures series 9

And the last Lego minifigures series 9 we got was the Cyclops. This was the one we wanted the most. Look just how incredible Cyclops is! Wow!

We really wanted the Chicken Suit Guy but couldn't find him...

And here's a look at the revamped version of the classic Lego Castle coming out this summer!!

Lego minifigures series 9

The next Lego minifigures series 9 we got was Mr. Good And Evil, who's some kind of Dr. Jekyll and Hyde. Its another great minifigure that works perfectly with our Lego Monsters Fighters.

A Lego Star Wars The Yoda Chronicles book will be coming out on July 15th. Included in the book is of course, in classic DK fashion, an exclusive minifigure, and the minifig is of none other than a Special Forces Commander Clone Trooper.
