The Red Turtle (La Tortue Rouge)

Yesterday, Isaac and myself watched The Red Turtle (La Tortue Rouge).

The tragic and magical tale of a shipwrecked man who establishes a family and a new life on an island inhabited only by majestic animal life.

A new masterpiece! Told without any dialogue. Gorgeous visuals. Touching story. Studio Ghibli made the rights choices by working with this Dutch animator. Perfect.

Director: Michaƫl Dudok de Wit
Running time: 80 minutes
Released: 2017

Sunday Special: G.I. Joe, Lego, Ghibli

I never realized that there was too version of Zarana, the sister of Zartan. Owned the pink version as a kid, but this black one is even hotter!

No Country for Old Men was an amazing film and this custom Lego mini figure is just as amazing.

Here's some great Lego Studio Ghibli custom sets. Woulnd't it be great if we got these as official release one day.

Disney 2012 : Studio Ghibli, Mr. Potato + Brave

One of the coolest place of all Disney was the Japanese "country" in Epcot centre. Isaac and I went totally crazy in there, especially in the store where they had tons of simply amazing and impossible to find Studio Ghibli memorabilia. I could have easily spend thousands in there in seconds!!

Next stop was at Downtown Disney. Not surprisingly there was lots of toys stores. This one was extremely cool as you could build your very own Mr. Potato!

Isaac showing his proud creation!! :)

And there was lots of cool stuff from Brave too!!! We both love Pixar.
