Saturday Movie
Isaac and myself love movies. Now every Saturday we will quickly talk about a movie we recently watched. Hope you enjoy and share in your views with us.
At the Earth's Core
Dr. Abner Perry (Peter Cushing) is an English scientist who has invented a massive drill that can dig deep into the earth. Joined by his adventure-seeking American backer, David Innes (Doug McClure), Perry accidentally discovers an underground civilization of primitive humans who live in fear of telepathic flying monsters. David becomes intrigued by the beautiful native Dia (the gorgeous Caroline Munro), and must rescue her when she is chosen as a human sacrifice.
A classic from my childhood. Cool action sequences and fun creatures design. The film is still highly entertaining.
Director: Kevin Connor
Running time: 90 minutes
Released: 1976
