Batman Aliens

Last but not least from our trip to La Boîte à B.D., we got a very cool Batman Aliens comic book published by DC and Dark Horses. This is a cool short story featuring two of Isaac's favourite characters.

Hellboy

A few months ago at the ToyCon, we got a cool Hellboy action figure. Well we finally found Abe Sapien! Released by Mezco a few years ago, this is a great looking figure with accessories and removable head. Isaac loves him!

Kenner Aliens

For Boxing Day, Isaac and I decided to go to our local comic books store La Boîte a B.D. where they had a huge sale on action figures and comics.

We got two Aliens figures from Kenner! Sgt. Apone and Bishop (which we already owned but used and without his accessories). Finding new sealed Aliens figures is already hard... getting them so cheap was simply great!

Needless to say Isaac was really proud.

Last but not least, from his cousins Lea and Kelly, Isaac got the very cool Lego Star Wars Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter set (#8093) and a small Lego mini figures case in which Isaac holds all of his special figures.

This is actually the second time Isaac gets this cool set but then... you can never have enough Lego Star Wars!

This was a great Christmas for Isaac.

From his friend MarieWolf and Tristan, Isaac got the great Lego Star Wars Character Encyclopedia!

This is a huge and beautiful 208 pages hardcore book. You get in-depth profiles on each mini figures released along with a look at all the versions available through the years and more. It also comes with an exclusive Han Solo fig, awesome!

From the daycare, Isaac got a cool Mega Bloks mini figure of a skateboarder along with lots of Marvel stickers. Stickers are so cool! I used to collect them as a kid. Isaac has tons of them in various albums.

So we decided to build the Lego Ninjago fire temple... all 1174 pieces. Spreading the pieces around our living room, we were in for sometime as this was the biggest Lego set we got! It took about 3 hours!!

Isaac build it with me but at the same time was playing with his new mini figures and older ones. Actually he was the one building all the new figures.

Did I mentioned just how cool the fire dragon is? This 17-inch monster with pose able wings and live action spit fire is beautiful. The Ninjago fire temple is a 10-inch-wide and 11-inch-tall set with painted screen windows... amazing!

Isaac's last Christmas gift from Santa was one that he's been asking about for months... the Lego Ninjago Fire Temple! Set #2507 features 1174 pieces of awesomeness!

It features four good guys; Sensei Wu, Kai, Zane and Nya mini figures along with Lord Garmadon, Samukai, and Kruncha bad guys. It includes 3 golden swords, 2 silver swords, 3 black swords, 1 spear, 1 thunder bolt, 1 bone axe, 1 staff and 2 daggers.

The temple is simply beautiful and big! It actually splits itself in two! There is also the very cool fire-ball spitting Fire dragon with poseable wings and claws.

An amazing set for one incredible son!

From Uncle Bob and Aunt Julie, Isaac got a very cool Mega Bloks Captain America figure. Its a nice figure reminiscent of the larger Lego figures.

From uncle Steve, Isaac got a very cool Batman The Brave and the Bold trade paperback! I've been trying to find this for sometime now and my friend helped me get it. Cool stuff.
