Saturday Movie
Saturday Movie
Isaac and myself love movies. Now every Saturday we will quickly talk about a movie we recently watched. Hope you enjoy and share in your views with us.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron
When Tony Stark jumpstarts a dormant peacekeeping program, things go terribly awry, forcing him, Thor, the Incredible Hulk, Captain America and the rest of the Avengers to reassemble. As the fate of Earth hangs in the balance, the team is put to the ultimate test as they battle Ultron, a technological terror hell-bent on human extinction.
A great sequel packed with amazing action sequences, mind blowing special fx and good storytelling. This is the film that feels the most like a live action comic book. Yet there are a few elements that could have been better. First, it is too short. Most of the plot feels rush… no wonder since the director's cut was 60 minutes longer. Changes were made to the Ultron character. He is now arrogant and cocky and not simply the determined killing machine of the comic book. But don't worry, Marvel delivers once again. Please note that there is only one mid-credits scene.
Director: Joss Whedon
Running time: 142 minutes
Released: 2015

Remember Modulok from the Masters of the Universe? 22 body parts! Comes from Hordak's evil Horde! Good times.
A few years ago Hasbro made a Rowdy Roddy Pipper G.I.Joe action figure! Just how awesome is that!
Always loved the Mego collection.
Jem! Truely outrageous! But who remember Rio?
Madballs!
Last but not least, the mighty Power Lords from Revell!

Sharknado 2: The Second One
A freak weather system brings in ravenous sharks to munch on hapless New Yorkers and iconic landmarks.
Terrible. The biggest problem with this sequel is that this time they actually tried to make it funny and entertaining and they failed since what worked with the first one was that it wasn't intentionally bad but turned out that way.
Director: Anthony C. Ferrante
Running time: 95 minutes
Released: 2014
