Boys having fun!

The day after Halloween, Isaac and I went to our local Wal-Mart and found tons of awesome Halloween stuff for next to nothing. As you can see below we got a Jason mask and blade, Ninja swords, a bloodied blade, and lots of decapitated human body parts!

After we went to the movies but had to play of few of the arcades that were in there.

Tomorrow we'll be back with more toys!

Montreal ToyCon: Marvel's X-Men + Lego Iron Man 3

Here is the very nice Beast action figure based on the X-Men Wolverine animated TV series. We didn't own that character yet and this is rather cool version.

As a scientist and doctor, Beast took the disappearance of Charles Xavier and Jean Grey as a personal challenge. He worked in a hidden lab under the ruins of the Xavier Institute. When the X-Men call, he is more than happy to use his strength and acrobatic skill to get back in action.

The very highly anticipated Lego Marvel Super Heroes Video Game that was announced last month is now available for pre-order on Amazon for many of the video game systems including the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Playstation Vita, and the PC. The estimated release date for the game is October 31, 2013. There is no word yet if there are any exclusive minifigures included with the pre-order but given LEGO’s track record with recent releases.

Also here is the first look at the three upcoming Lego Iron Man 3 sets! Isaac and I can't wait to get them all. A War Machine minifigure, yeah! Mandarin, yeah!

Montreal ToyCon: Chucky Living Dead Dolls

I might come as a surprise to some but Isaac absolutely love Chucky! Yes that very same Chucky that was featured in too many Child's Play films through the past two decades. A few months ago, Isaac fixation with the "Good Guy Doll" started and we watched all films. But we still didn't owned one... until now.

As part of their cool Living Dead Dolls collection, Mezco have created Chucky! Chucky stands 10" tall and features real cloth clothing, 5 points of articulation and his trademark orange hair. Its an awesome figure (doll).

Montreal ToyCon: McFarlane's Monsters

Isaac was so happy to find this at the ToyCon. He's been asking for some more of this collection but sadly they are extremely hard to find here.

Overall its a cool and beautiful creepy designed set from McFarlane but its way too fragile. Within minutes after he started to play with it, one arm of Dracula broke! Poor Isaac was crying... I had to crazy glue that arm. These are more adults figures to display then for kids to play with which is a shame.

Montreal ToyCon: Beetlejuice

We found the Beetlejuice Creepy Cruiser vehicle. Look just how cool this thing is! Kenner made some amazing toys back then and even if this is not in the Tim Burton it is very cool.

Our Beetlejuice collection is getting better and better!

Montreal ToyCon: Mothra + Grendizer

We finally found and bought Mothra! This Bandai figure was made as part of the recent Godzilla collection. We own the 12" versions so this smaller Mothra works perfectly.

Mothra is some kind of gigantic moth meets a butterfly. Her first appearance was in the 1961 film, Mothra.

Remember Shogun Warriors?! I also wanted them as a kid but never got any. Hopefully Isaac and I will find some sooner then later. There was even a Godzilla figure as part of this awesome series!

A beautiful book named "Génération Galactik" came out in France. It focuses on all the cool 1970s characters I loved as a kid.

Montreal ToyCon: The Lone Ranger + Surprise!

Yeah! We finally found the Lone Ranger. Based on the 1982 film, this was a great collection of action figures. Those were made by Gabriel. I used to own them all as a kid... hopefully we will soon find them all over again.

SURPRISE!
Look at what we got for ourselves yesterday!

Montreal ToyCon: Marvel Universe

Isaac also scored a very cool Iron Patriot action figure.

After the Invasion of Skrulls, Norman Osborn became the new hero of the world and replaced Tony Stark as the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., or rather its successor H.A.M.M.E.R.

When he decided to create a new team of Avengers he felt the team needed the heroic images of Captain America and Iron Man. Thus he decided to create this battle suit painted with the colors of Captain America's costume which was cobbled together from StarkTech that had been confiscated from Tony Stark's armory at Stark Tower shortly after H.A.M.M.E.R.'s formation.

Neca is releasing an 18" version of Captain America based on the film The Avengers. With 25 points of articulations, this figure is limited to only 7500.

Montreal ToyCon: Marvel Universe

Yes! Isaac found Constrictor through a pile of used Marvel Universe action figures at the ToyCon. We really wanted that character who first appeared in Incredible Hulk vol.1 #212 (Jun. 1977) and was created by Len Wein and Sal Buscema.

Check out this Old Logan Marvel Universe action figure that Hasbro will soon release! Wow! I want one.

And coming soon, is the new Hulk and the Agents of Smash animated TV series!

Montreal ToyCon: Lego Star Wars

The Lego Club of Quebec was at the ToyCon. We've met them several times now so there was some familiar faces. Some awesome creations where shown!

After a record breaking debut on Cartoon Network,  the very cool Lego The Empire Strikes Out film is coming out on a DVD & Blu-ray combo on March 26th.

The heroes of the Rebel Alliance including heroic Luke Skywalker, swaggering Han Solo and steadfast Princess Leia have no time to celebrate their victory over the Empire as a new Imperial threat arises. But as Jedi-in training Luke embarks on this next mission, he discovers that his celebrity status as a “Death-Star-Blower-Upper” can be a double-edged lightsaber when he’s constantly mobbed by crazed fans. So much for secret missions! Meanwhile, Darth Vader and Darth Maul are locked in a hilarious “Sith-ling” rivalry as they compete for the Emperor’s approval. It’s an action-packed comic adventure that’s out of this world.

And here is the first look at what should be the new Lego Star Wars Jabba the Hutt Sail Barge (#75020) coming this summer. This highly anticipated set will come with Jabba, R2-D2, slave Leia, Max Reebo, Ree-Yees and Weequay.
