Star Wars Identities... meeting Yoda!

Next we entered the palace of Jabba the Hut. Princess Leia was there laying on the floor with her bikini while poor Han Solo was frozen in carbonite.

As we moved along the huge dark room we are treated to many sketches and sculptures of what became Jar Jar Binks. There is also Sebula and others creatures. One of the coolest piece at the exhibition is the actual Podracer of Anakin!

Next are some sketches of Luke and Tatooine along with amazing props and costumes of a Tusken Raider and Jawa. WOW!

As you enter the room you are asked to choose the race you are part of. Isaac first chooses the same race as Jedi master Plo Koon but then decided to be a Ewok. I choose the race of bounty hunter Bossk.

Moving around with headphone that are activated depending of the area you are, lots of awesome props, costumes, sketches and videos from all the Star Wars films are presented.

Star Wars Identities

Montreal is the first city to host the Star Wars Identities exhibition.

Isaac and I went a few weeks ago and had a blast. This is a great exhibition where 200 original costumes, props, models, and pieces of artwork are displayed.

There is also an interactive aspect to the exhibition where you will "learn" which Star Wars character you are. It  explores the theme of identity using ten components that help make us who we are: species, genes, parents, culture, mentors, friends, events, occupation, personality, and values.

A must for Star Wars fans.

Spider-Man + Retro Commercials 6

We got Doctor Octopus!

We didn't owned a 3.75" version of Spider-Man foe. Weirdly this was released as part of the new Amazing Spider-Man film. It is not the best looking version of the character but still cool.

Don't forget that for this weekend only, The Avengers film is back in cinema.

Remember Stretch and its monster? Wow! I used to own Stretch as a kid. Unfortunately it tore up and the liquid it in came out... all over the carpet! Isaac and I have been searching for the Stretch monster for sometime now but no luck.

Marvel Captain America

We finally got the action figure of the Winter Soldier!

Its a great looking figure with cool accessories. Isaac and I are extremely happy to have found him. We are big fan of the Winter Soldier (aka Bucky).

Remember that the upcoming Captain America sequel is coming on April 4th, 2014 and will reveal the story of the Winter Soldier! The title pretty much gives it all! This should be awesome! I guess there is even a chance of a returning Red Skull!
