Turbo Kid

Set in a post apocalyptic year of 1997, this retro-futuristic and nostalgic tribute to the 1980's action-adventure films follows an orphaned teenager who goes on an adventure to save his female friend from the hands of an evil warlord.

Ultra violent, funny, bloody and totally ridiculous. This is how you pay tributes to the greats without disrespecting the original material. We loved it.

One of the coolest playset ever made was without a doubt the G.I.Joe Aircraft Carrier U.S.S. Flagg! Such a gigantic playset. Wanted one so bad a a kid.

Escape from New York

In 1997, a major war between the United States and the Soviet Union is concluding, and the entire island of Manhattan has been converted into a giant maximum security prison. When Air Force One is hijacked and crashes into the island, the president (Donald Pleasence) is taken hostage by a group of inmates. Snake Plissken (Kurt Russell), a former Special Forces soldier turned criminal, is recruited to retrieve the president in exchange for his own freedom.

Big Trouble in Little China

Kurt Russell plays hard-boiled truck driver Jack Burton, who gets caught in a bizarre conflict within, and underneath, San Francisco's Chinatown. An ancient Chinese prince and Chinatown crime lord has kidnapped a beautiful green-eyed woman, who is the fiancee to Jack's best friend. Jack must help his friend rescue the girl before the evil Lo Pan uses her to break the ancient curse that keeps him a fleshless and immortal spirit.

Classic Joh Carpenter. Kurt Russell is in top shape. The film is fun, energetic and features a cast of colourful characters. While the film was a big office failure upon its release, it later found fans through video.
