Isaac's birthday : Lego Marvel Super Heroes
Isaac got the very cool Lego Marvel Super Heroes Starblaster Showdown (#76019) set based on the Guardians of the Galaxy film. It has 196 bricks and include three minifigures; Star-Lord, Nova officer and Sakaaran soldier. Very cool!

Isaac's birthday : Lego Legends of Chima
Last October, Isaac celebrated his eight birthday!!!
Already! My little man is growing up so fast. All of his friends came to party at the local movie cinema where we also had the chance to watch the Box Trolls film. Lots of fun and Isaac received so many gifts its almost insane!
The first he got was the Lego Legends of Chima Vardy’s Ice Vulture Glider set (#70141). This one has 217 bricks including two very cool minifigures.

Lego Series 12 : Prospector
Last but not least was the Prospector. Now this is a cool looking minifgure. We never seen one like this before. The beard and missing tooth are especially great.
"Whoooey! Mine, mine, mine!
The wacky old Prospector is always trying to get rich with some hare-brained scheme or another. If he’s not digging for gold out in the desert, then he’s hoping to strike oil with his pickaxe, or find buried outlaw treasure, or uncover a crashed flying saucer that he can sell to a museum. None of his plans ever pan out, but he just comes up with a new one and heads right back out into the wilderness to try his luck again.
Some may prefer being a city-slicker with a roof over their heads, but that’s no life for the Prospector. Give him a sky full of stars, a campfire and a tin of beans, and he’s as happy as a prairie dog in dirt. So what will he do with all of that money when he finds his fortune? Why, that’s easy, pardner – he’ll get a new hat, maybe finally change his shirt, and buy himself the biggest tin of beans in the entire Old West. Yee-haw!

Lego Series 12 : Piggy Guy
Another one we really wanted was the Piggy Guy. Those Lego characters in animal suits are just too cool. There is one almost in every series. This new one looks great. Love the piggy hat.

The Piggy Guy used to be a regular farmer. Then one day he noticed how much fun his hogs were having, and he decided to try it out for himself! Donning a pink pig costume, he started to spend all of his time oinking, eating apples, and wallowing in the mud – and he found out that he really liked it.
Yep, the Piggy Guy sure enjoys being a pig. He’s right at home in the pen, and his new piggy pals act like he’s just another member of the flock…herd…whatever a group of pigs is called. He knows that he can go back to being a farmer whenever he wants, but he’s just feeling too lazy to do it right now. Then again, he might change his mind if he hears somebody mention bacon!

Lego Series 12 : Wizard
My brother helped us find the Lego Series 12 minifigures we were missing. The first one was the Wizard. Overall a cool minifigurine. Love the details on his suit and the diamond at the top of his "cane".
"Now, where did I put that potion? I know it’s in here somewhere…"
The wise and kindly Wizard has studied the magical arts for many years, and few are better than he at crafting spells, enchantments and useful elixirs. He knows just the right rhymes for undoing curses, and can cure hexes with a touch of his crystal-tipped staff. He’s even mapped out all of the dragon caves in the land so that everybody can avoid them.
But the Wizard’s problems began when he created his mystical Robes of Many Pockets. It sounded so useful to be able to carry his vast collection of potions, scrolls and spellbooks around with him all the time, but he forgot to write down the instructions, and now he can’t figure out what pockets hold what. When he reaches into one, he can’t predict whether he’ll pull out a rabbit, a wheelbarrow, or a hungry troll!

Lego Series 12 : Hun Warrior
And here's the last one we got… Genghis Khan! A cool warrior figure.
"C’mon, I’m not so bad!"
It isn’t easy being a Hun Warrior. Just because your empire has a reputation for rampaging across the countryside, conquering and plundering everything in its path, everybody thinks that you must be a bad neighbor. Well, this is one warrior who’s out to change that view!
Instead of pillaging towns, the Hun Warrior visits them with plates of cookies (though it’s best not to ask what’s in them). He decorates town walls with homemade art, and hardly ever smashes them down and rides over the rubble on horseback. He even baked a friendship cake once, but when he went to cut it with his sword, things got kind of messy. It’s only if all of his attempts to be neighborly fail that he shrugs and goes back to the conquering and plundering. Hey, at least he tried!

Lego Series 12 : Pizza Delivery Man
Finally! It was about time we got a Pizza Delivery Man minifigure. He comes with a box, a pizza and a delivery hat. A cool figure.
"Hi! Did somebody here order a pizza?"
Who’s that at the door? It’s the friendly neighborhood Pizza Delivery Man! As the newest delivery guy at Papa Brickolini’s Pizzeria, he’s still got a lot to learn. He had no idea that carrying piping hot pizzas all around town required so many different job skills!
Not only does he have to ride his bike from house to house, but sometimes he needs to use a skateboard or a jetski, and once he even ended up in a high-speed car chase after a brick-stealing burglar for some reason that he still isn’t sure about. All that, and he still has to deliver his pizzas on time, every time!

Lego Series 12 : Video Game Guy
Another Lego minifigure that we can identify with! This one is very cool. Love the "Player 1" t-shirt and the Nintendo-esque gamepad.

The Video Game Guy is an expert on anything and everything to do with video games. He’s recorded all of the top strategy tips, memorized every combo, and found all of the hidden rooms and bonus coins – even a few that the game programmers themselves didn’t know about.
Although he’s played every kind of video game that you could name, the Video Game Guy’s favorites are the classics. There’s just something about those clunky old 8-bit graphics and those bleeping, blooping tunes that really gets his gamer adrenaline racing. Plus, it’s way easier to get the high score when nobody else remembers how to play!

Lego Series 12 : Rock Star
A very cool figure. I actually though it was a girl but when Isaac built it, he told me about the hair on his chest… so we are back into the 1980s glam scene! Poison, Motley Crue! Love it.
"They call it a rock because it rocks, baby!"
You’ve heard of hard rock? Well, check out the rock-solid Rock Star! He sleeps on a bare bed frame with no mattress. He takes the padded insoles out of his shoes. He uses the strongest hair gel ever invented. He only eats stale bread rolls (with rock candy for dessert). And his guitar is carved out of a single huge diamond.
The Rock Star rose to rock stardom with his mega-hit song, “Brick Wall Baby.” The record went platinum right away, but that just wasn’t hard enough for him, so he had it recast in titanium carbide. Now he’s looking for something even harder that he can use to make a completely indestructible tour bus for riding between concerts!

Lego Series 12 : Spooky Girl
My most wanted of the new series. She got the looks that kills!
Love all the small details on her and her undead teddy bear. The soft rubber plastic used for the hair is very cool.
"Do you want to come play with me?"
The Spooky Girl likes everything that’s creepy, crawly, icky and eerie. She loves having bad dreams and watching scary black-and-white movies. She loves taking long walks through old graveyards, hearing the wind howl at night, and seeing dry leaves fall off of trees. She loves rats and bats and snakes and spiders, and they love her, too.
Because of all that, the Spooky Girl tends to come off as just a little bit…different. People don’t always understand her point of view, or her sense of style, or her habit of suddenly appearing behind them in mirrors when they don’t know she’s in the room. But she can’t help being spooky; it’s just the way she is!

Flea Market Hunting : WWE Jakks Pacific
WWE Wrestling Exclusive Money in the Bank Ring with 2 Bonus Action Figures (RVD and Shelton Benjamin).
Released in 2007 by Jakks Pacific this set now goes for around $300. It stands over 24 inches tall. It comes with 3 action ladders which flip, blast and tilt.
Its a great playset that works perfectly with our Mattel WWE action figures.
Isaac uses our iPad as the TitanTron. All of his action figures have their song and photo to appear so they get a proper introduction into the ring. Very cool!

RAW is Isaac!

Montreal Comic Con 2014 : Thundercats
We got the very cool Thundercats Tower of Omens for only $10.
This is a cool playset that comes with a transparent figure of Tygra, which has embedded magnet called ThunderLynx. There is an elevator, lights and sound. The Tower of Omens includes Cat Entrance Gate, Catapult, Tower with elevator and slide and mini ThunderCats vehicle.
Its a cool set… sad that this collection and animated TV series was cancelled.

Montreal Comic Con 2014 : Hulk Hogan
The first toy we found at the Montreal Comic Con was this Jakks Pacific action figure of Hulk Hogan as Thunderlips in Rocky III. Since there are no Mattel Hulk Hogan figure and this one is up to scale with the Mattel figure, we got him…. and we are glad we did!
Isaac loves it. Hulkamania is running wild at our place and this action figure is awesome!

MMA - Isaac
Last Saturday Isaac started his first MMA class…
yes you have read correctly. Isaac is now learning Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Olympic Wrestling, Boxing and more.
Its three times a week and let me tell you that it is one hell of a training. Very demanding but he likes it.
I have taken pictures an shot a video… of his very first match in a ring! What a rush!

Montreal Comic Con 2014 III
Sony, Warner Bros. and others were there to showcase their upcoming video games.
There was lots of people… a little too much actually. The event is so popular, it needs a bigger place.
