Boys having fun...

A few weeks ago, Isaac and I went to La Nuit Blanche at Montreal en Lumiere. Its a huge event with tons of activities around the city of Montreal. On La Nuit Blanche, there are things to do all night up until 5 in the morning!

This was Isaac's first time. We decided to go and stay for as long as he felt like it. Our first stop was at La Vitrine, where Gros Joueurs organized lots of cool video games play on big screens.

This was an alternate version of Super Mario Bros. with various characters from the 8-bit era.

There was some retro games to play too like Donkey Kong through a motion capture floor.

Isaac tried to weird four player pixeled combat game with three adults as his opponents!

A gigantic and working NES controller!

We went for some fireworks and various concerts outside in the cold.

There was even a house music DJ that played to keep the huge crowd "warm".

We also went around the city seeing various expositions and meeting friends, great times!

Killer Croc

This huge 9.5 inches tall Killer Croc action figure is simply amazing. We've been collecting the Batman Arkham Asylum and City figures but never got any of those deluxe and expensive figures.

The level of details is incredible. Great sculpt but limited articulations. The figure is really heavy too. We own various versions of Killer Croc but this is the best one.

And today was our first time of the year at the flea market! More about it soon...

Lego Star Wars Death Star

And here it is... the first floor and the beginning of the second floor of our Lego Death Star. In the end, this will be 3803 pieces in total. Now I need a break...

Meanwhile Isaac has decided to build all 25 minute figures!

So we were opening the massive box...

Wow! There are four small yet very big boxes in it.

And thats the manual! Its huge! About 260 pages.

So lets start with box number 1. Wow lots of bags filled with Lego in it.

And here is it. The amazing Lego Star Wars Death Star. We got a great price for it. It was brand new and still in its shipping box! The box itself is HUGE and very heavy.

One happy little man! There are 25 mini figures in this set.

Tomorrow we'll start building it for all of you.

Valentine's day

I had the pleasure of spending Valentine's day with the love of my life... Isaac.

We did stuff we love like eating sushi, playing video games, watch cartoons and play with our toys. I also gave him Kinder Surprise chocolate eggs (Isaac is allergic to nuts).

A friend of mine whom I played music at her private party gave me two Lego mini figures for Isaac. Wow! A space police and stuntman! Two we didn't owned... yet.

Lego Star Wars

As a little surprise gift, I got Isaac this very cool Lego Star Wars Republic Troopers vs. Sith Troopers set (#75001). This is part of the brand new Lego Star Wars series just released.

It has a total of only 63 pieces but features 4 very cool mini figures. Isaac was very happy!

Lego Star Wars Hoth Echo Base

So we got the Lego Star Wars Hoth Echo Base (#7879), which was only half price at Toys R US! This is a superb set of 773 pieces including 7 mini figures.

The Empire Strike Back segment on Hoth is one of our favourite. With this set we can recreate part of it. Its a fun but usually too expensive set with lots of replay value. It was easy to build.

We love the new Luke mini figure, R3-PO (a red C3-PO), Tauntaun and popsicle!
