Whats even cooler is that its from the Hasbro Marvel Universe collection and we got it for $1. Isaac and I are really proud.
The character was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist Bill Everett, with an unspecified amount of input from Jack Kirby, and first appeared in Daredevil #1 (April 1964).
We decided to build more of our Lego city. This new updated version is even cooler!!
Yes it is getting pretty BIG! We've added a few new buildings in.
The red and brown building is actually the Mega Bloks Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles released years ago that we found at the flea market.
This is of course the Lego Marvel base of The Avengers that we just got. Ninjas are actually controlling everything computer-wise in there. Even Spider-Man has joined The Avengers.
You can see the garage where Wolverine and Captain America have their motorbike while The Avengers jet is there.
Magneto is watching from above...
We actually did a small road for vehicles to go through.
The Batcave is still there.
You can see the Batmobile hidden on the far right.
Look at what we finally got, the Skylanders Spyro's Adventure video game for the PS3. Isaac tried this game at a friend and wanted it really, really, really bad. So I bought it for him as a gift for being the greatest son ever!
Its a cool game where Isaac can change characters (little plastic statues) on the portal and they instantly appear on the screen. You need some specific characters to unlock certain mysteries in the game. There are a total of 32 characters so far, three comes with the game.
I read that so far this is the best selling figures collection of the year. Activision has sold more Skylanders then Hasbro has sold Star Wars action figures, which was the winner of every past years.
After what seem like forever for Isaac, he finally received the latest issue of the Lego magazine! A cool issue that got Isaac's thumb's up approval!

Coming soon to Cartoon Network is Lego Star Wars The Empire Strikes Out!
New celebrity Luke begins a secret mission but is thwarted by his fans; Darth Vader clashes with Darth Maul. Get your lightsabers ready because a brand new LEGO Star Wars special is coming to Cartoon Network. Your favorites are back and even though it’s just moments after the Death Star has exploded, Luke, Leia, Han, Chewbacca and the rest of the Rebel Alliance’s heroes have no time to rest on their laurels.
Yes only $10!
How come? The box was opened and a little ripped plus its missing two figures; Hulk and Hawkeye, which sadly were the two we were missing from our collection.
Still only $10 for the Helicarrier, the plane and the Thor and Loki figures is an awesome deal!
Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout (#6868) contains only 398 pieces and normally goes for $65 around here. Patience paid.
Isaac and I were extremely happy to find it. We rushed back home to build it and thankfully the Helicarrier is complete.
We decided to shoot photos of the Marvel Universe action figures we just got but unboxed.
The Guardians of the Galaxy pack is extremely cool. Love the details on each figure and Rocket Racoon is simply awesome! The background is also very cool.
Look just how cool and colourful Yellowjacket and Ant-Man are.
The last Marvel Universe action figure we got was Yellowjacket. Henry Pym, the first Yellowjacket, also known as Ant-Man, Giant-Man and Goliath, who was a founding member of The Avengers.
Its a good looking figure but the coolest thing about it is that a mini version of Ant-Man comes with him!
Created by editor and plotter Stan Lee, scripter Larry Lieber and penciler Jack Kirby, the character first appeared in Tales to Astonish #27 (Jan. 1962). Pym's character, a scientist that debuted in a standalone science-fiction anthology story, returned several issues later as the superhero Ant-Man, with the power to shrink to the size of an insect. Pym is eventually given a crime-fighting partner, Janet van Dyne (Wasp) and goes on to assume other superhero identities, including the size-changing Giant-Man and Goliath; the insect-themed Yellowjacket; and briefly the Wasp.
Another Marvel Universe action figure we got was Doc Samson.
As a kid I've always love Samson's look... yeah I grew up on hair metal bands! It's a nice figure, full of attitude and long green hair.
Doc Samson first appeared in the Incredible Hulk #141 (July 1971) and was created by Roy Thomas and Herb Trimpe. We really liked his character in The Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes TV series.
He is the son of the Hulk and the extraterrestrial Caiera, who conceived him during the "Planet Hulk" storyline. Sadly we are not that familiar with the character but he is cool looking and comes with a HUGE sword!!!
Tomorrow we will be attending the Montreal Comic Con! We hope to find lots of cool stuff.
Yes! We have found Red Hulk from the Marvel Universe collection of Hasbro. Look just how incredible (pun intended) this action figure. Superb sculpt and design.
He is one of our favourite character. He big and means business. And no I won't spoil who's his alter ego is.
The Red Hulk first appeared in Hulk vol. 2 #1 (Jan. 2008). The 2008 opening story arc of the current Hulk series established that the character is very aggressive, as the Red Hulk murders Hulk foes the Wendigo and Abomination; destroys the Helicarrier of the spy organization S.H.I.E.L.D.; defeats several Marvel heroes, and, after causing an earthquake in San Francisco, is finally defeated by the combined efforts of the Hulk and the thunder god Thor.
Yes! We managed to get some rather hard to find (at least around here) Marvel Universe action figures.
First was the awesome pack of the Guardians of the Galaxy! Its a cool team of Starlord, Rocket Racoon, Groot and Drax the Destroyer! Look just how cool they are! The miniature Groot sapling as an accessory is awesome and Rocket is probably one of the coolest character in all Marvel universe.
The actual figures are superbly sculpted and detailed. Some of the best Marvel Universe figures so far. We got them from the very cool Duclos Toys online store, check it out!
Remember that August 1st, 2014, Drax, Groot, Star-Lord, Gamora and Rocket Raccoon will make their live action debut directed by James Gunn (SLiTHER). Insane!! And since The Avengers 2 is rumoured for a 2015 release, Guardians of the Galaxy should be the last film to lead to the big finale in the sequel to the third biggest film of all time, The Avengers!
After about two hours at the exhibition, we arrived at the end. There we learned who we are as Star Wars characters!
Isaac is a evil Ewok Sith. He learned the dark side from the Emperor.
I am a bounty hunter, who also has the Emperor as his mentor.
The Star Wars Identity exhibition will be in Montreal until next week. After that he will go in other cities. We highly recommend it to any Star Wars fan.
That's it! Tomorrow we'll be back with more action figures!
